What Is DAXXIFY®?

While BOTOX and DAXXIFY use the same active ingredient, DAXXIFY is formulated slightly differently from BOTOX, giving it several unique advantages. DAXXIFY’s formulation attaches the active ingredient to a protein, which allows the product to last longer than competitors like BOTOX. DAXXIFY can last up to six months, while BOTOX generally lasts up to about four months. You can also expect to start seeing DAXXIFY results more quickly than BOTOX results.
Additionally, DAXXIFY uses a novel peptide to stabilize its formulation, making it the first injectable botulinum toxin not to contain human or animal byproducts.
Who’s a Good Candidate for DAXXIFY?
Anyone who is looking for longer-lasting anti-wrinkle results from injectable treatments could be a good candidate for DAXXIFY. In rare cases, some people develop BOTOX resistance, which diminishes its ability to produce the same results as it once did. In these instances, a BOTOX alternative like DAXXIFY could be appropriate.
