You may have heard the common myth that all breast implants need to be replaced at the ten-year mark. While this is not always the case and breast implants can last even longer than 10 years, it’s not a bad idea to check in with your plastic surgeon after this amount of time for a few reasons.

1. Make Sure Everything Is As It Should Be

   A lot can happen in a decade, so you might want to schedule a 10-year reunion visit with your plastic surgeon just to make sure there aren’t any safety or medical concerns with your implants.
