How Long Can Swelling Last after Liposuction?


Swelling is a natural response to injury, which makes this symptom inevitable after any type of surgical procedure. While swelling can last for several months after liposuction, the majority of the swelling should be resolved in the first 3 to 4 weeks.

There are some things you can do both before and after liposuction to help reduce swelling and speed up your body’s healing process.
