PATIENT BACKGROUND: Three years prior, this focused 50-year-old female had a vertical sleeve gastrectomy. Following that, she has lost around 85 pounds. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall and now weighs 145 pounds. What bothers her the most is the excess skin of her abdomen and her secondary concern is the droopiness of her breasts. She is her to see Dr. Mariotti for breast and body contouring surgery. She desires a D cup and a flat tummy to help her look as good as she feels now.
PROCEDURE:
FOLLOW UP/OUTCOME: 5 days post-surgery and her incisions are healing nicely. She still has bruising and swelling in those areas as well as her abdomen as expected at this stage. 12 days out from surgery and he is standing up fully straight now. One month and a half post-surgery and she “loves” her results. 3 months out and she looks absolutely amazing. Her breasts are soft and in a great position. Her abdomen is nice and flat and all incision scars are fading nicely. 6 months post op these photographs were taken. She simply looks stunning. What do you think?
