Fractional Skin Resurfacing with MOXI
MOXI, a non-ablative fractional skin treatment, is ideal for women and men who want the most advanced skin rejuvenation option currently available. MOXI treatments can correct the initial signs of sun damage, minimize the appearance of lines and wrinkles, rebuild collagen, fix uneven pigmentation, and improve the general tone and texture of the skin.
Our patients can see improvements after just one treatment, though some skin concerns may require additional treatments for full correction. MOXI fractional skin resurfacing can jumpstart your skincare regimen and make it that much easier to maintain a youthful appearance.
MOXI treatments are comfortable and take under an hour, making this an ideal lunch time treatment with little downtime.
Broadband Light (BBL) Skin Rejuvenation
We are proud to offer BBL HERO from Sciton, the absolute latest and most advanced technology from this leader in laser and light-based aesthetic skin enhancement. BBL treatments can correct issues including sun damage, uneven skin tone, visible veins, hyperpigmentation and more.
BBL HERO (High Energy Rapid Output) is the fastest, most powerful IPL currently available. This technology allows us to treat skin concerns anywhere on the body with 4 times the speed, 3 times the peak power and 2 times the cooling capacity of any other device. What this means for our patients is that they can enjoy clearer, smoother, brighter and more evenly toned skin after only a single, comfortable treatment that can be completed in under an hour.
Skin Rejuvenation FAQs
Laser rejuvenation can very likely help you achieve a younger and healthier skin tone and texture. Even minor skin roughness and pigmentation problems can benefit from skin rejuvenation. For more extensive blemishes, aged skin, and other complexion concerns, fractional resurfacing can reach deep for a dramatically smoother and brighter complexion.
While it’s difficult to answer this question without an in-office evaluation, generally speaking the fractional laser technology is best suited to treat lines and wrinkles, along with minor skin sagging and deeper scarring. On the other hand, BBL can treat skin redness, sun damage, age spots and hyperpigmentation with fewer treatments and less peeling after treatment.
Ablative treatments physically remove the top layer of damaged skin during the treatment appointment. The most common ablative laser treatments are carbon dioxide (CO2) and Erbium (or YAG) lasers. This is a more aggressive form of skin rejuvenation and is not appropriate for all skin types, particularly darker skin. There is more downtime following ablative treatments. On the other hand, non-ablative laser treatments are designed to encourage your damaged outer layers of skin to naturally peel following treatment, making them more gentle and comfortable with little to no downtime.
Yes. In fact, for many of our patients who have procedures like face lifts and eyelid surgery, we recommend a skin rejuvenation procedure to create a more comprehensive refresh, since these surgical procedures alone will not change the tone and texture of the skin. We can also perform skin rejuvenation in conjunction with other non-surgical treatments like BOTOX® Cosmetic and dermal fillers.
Results following fractional skin resurfacing can last 3 to 5 years, depending on the skin conditions being treated and how well you care for your skin after treatment. Most of our patients who have a BBL rejuvenation treatment like to come back every 6 to 12 months to continue to enjoy a smooth, brighter looking complexion.
