Patient Background; This young man has consulted Dr. Mariotti to discuss an earlobe repair procedure. A few years back he started inserting larger and larger gauges with the largest at approximately  1-3/8 inch. However, he has grown tired of how they look.
Procedure:Â Earlobe repair is a simple in office procedure. After anesthetizing both ear lobes, the inferior portion of the ring around his ear lobes are excised and the remaining pieces trimmed and interlock into each other to reconstruct a normal-appearing earlobe.
