Why VISIA Complexion Analysis?
Using a specialized camera, VISIA Complexion Analysis takes a series of photos of your face from several different angles. In addition to the surface of your skin, VISIA also evaluates the following:
- Sun damage
- Evenness of tone
- Depth and size of pores
- Age spots
Your skin report also compares your complexion to others in your age, skin type, and gender demographics to evaluate your specific rate of aging and damage. Because most damage begins beneath the skin's surface, VISIA Complexion Analysis is an invaluable tool to help Dr. Mariotti and his team gain a comprehensive understanding of your skin's needs and make sound treatment recommendations to treat and prevent damage.
The VISIA Procedure
Our med spa patients from Walnut Creek and other areas love VISIA because each analysis is non-invasive, painless, and typically lasts for just 30 minutes. Using our specialized VISIA system, Dr. Mariotti or a qualified member of our staff captures a multi-dimensional image of your face. He or she then reviews your analysis with you, explaining the findings and helping you build a treatment regimen that effectively addresses each of your concerns.
Based on your analysis, we may recommend aesthetic services, skincare products to use at home, lifestyle or nutritional adjustments, or more extensive procedures. We can also perform a follow-up analysis to evaluate how well a particular treatment is working and make adjustments when necessary to encourage long-term results.
