Earlobe Repair
Indications
For centuries, ear rings have been worn to enhance women's beauty and appearance. Although most people never have a problem from wearing this jewelry, on occasion, women may suffer a tear in the earlobe resulting in a cleft. This can lead to embarrassment as well as the inability to wear some of their favorite jewelry in that ear again.

Earlobes are also one of the subtle signs of aging. As we get older, our earlobes continue to stretch and elongate, sometimes noticeably. One may simply want a smaller earlobe which would be more in proportion to their ear and/or face. Procedure

Description

Earlobe Repair: The procedure is done in the office with local anesthesia. Once the earlobe is anesthetized, the procedure is quick and pain free.

Earlobe Reduction: The procedure is either done here in the office or on an outpatient basis at a surgery center. Earlobe reduction is often done in conjunction with a facelift if needed and occasionally as a separate procedure.

Recuperation and Healing
Either procedure in itself is painless. Because they are minor procedures, patients can return to work the very same day if done here in the office.
