It may be argued that the most prominent feature of the human body is the face. Unfortunately, over time exposure to the sun, fluctuations in weight, genetics and many other factors (i.e., smoking and exposure to pollution) express their collective effect within the appearance of our face. If indicated, a facelift addresses these various effects by firming and tightening the skin of the face and neck. However, the most common thing heard is the desire to avoid that plastic surgery appearance. Gone are the expression-less, wind-tunneled looks of the past, as Dr. Mariotti strives to recreate a younger look for his patients with the least tell-tell surgical signs as possible. As you will see in photos of Dr. Mariotti’s patients, he works hard to give patients a natural result that can take years off of one’s appearance without dramatically changing their underlying charachteristics that make each person unique. Dr. Mariotti’s typical facelift patients fall anywhere between their mid 40’s to their late 60’s. But more important than the actual age of today’s facelift patients are the beautiful, natural-looking results that achieved through modern day “rejuvenation.”
